Privacy Policy

This policy explains what RUCHI MINI MART LIMITED, trading as SacredIn, does with personal information. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, telephone number, the parish or organisation you write on behalf of, and whatever you tell us about what you need. When you place an order we also hold the delivery address and the billing details needed to invoice you. If you subscribe to updates we hold your email address and nothing else. We do not take card payments through this website.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

To answer enquiries and prepare quotations, which is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us. To fulfil and invoice an order, which is performance of our contract with you. To keep the accounting records a UK business is required to keep, which is a legal obligation. Marketing emails are sent only with consent, and every one carries an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the parties who need it to get an order to you: our workshop, the freight forwarder, the customs agent and the carrier. Some of these are outside the UK, in India; where that is so, the transfer is covered by the safeguards permitted under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as HMRC requires. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for [CONFIRM: suggested 24 months] and then deleted. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our using it, and ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. Write to marketing@sacredin.com and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
